Steve Nichols

I have over 10 years of experience learning, performing, and teaching improv comedy, across several different theaters in New York City and Portland, most notably at the UCB Theater, The Brody Theater, and Curious Comedy Theater. I have studied under such comedy luminaries as Zach Woods, Lennon Parham, Will Hines, Shannon O’Neill, Tom Johnson, and Stacey Hallal.

I regularly perform around Portland, including with Curious house team Vortex, and in Secret Aardvark at Kickstand. I am also a writer/performer for Late Night Special at Curious.

I actively seek to engage various learning styles and create a learning environment that is comfortable for people of all identities, backgrounds, and experience levels. I welcome feedback and seek to learn as much as I teach.

My standard rate is $20/hr and I typically have access to a comfortable rehearsal space, at no extra charge to you.
